Gary Ryan is considered by many to be one of the finest guitarists of his generation. At the age of 27 he was appointed one of the youngest ever Professors at the Royal College of Music and has gained a reputation as one of Britain's finest guitar teachers. In 1997 he was made an Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition of his achievements. He made his London recital debut at the Purcell Room in 1994 to exceptional critical acclaim and has since performed throughout Britain and abroad, winning universal praise for his formidable technique, high class musicianship and original concert programmes.

Gary Ryan is also a highly accomplished composer. His latest CD, Worlds Apart, includes his own hugely popular work for the guitar, Scenes from The Wild West.
